My latest (and most expensive) obsession is the ReVive line of skincare products. Specifically the Moisture Renewal Cream Retexturizing Hydrator. While it may be a mouthful to say, the effects of this cream are mind-blowing. I saw an immediate difference after one night and remarkable results after a month. This jar is worth every penny of the steep $195 price tag and touts delaying the need for any cosmetic procedures (that’s how I justify it). I am a believer! What caught my attention was the Nobel Prize winning technology – I thought ‘how could a face cream win a Nobel Prize?’ Well, the uber-smart Dr. Gregory Bays Brown, a Harvard-trained plastic and reconstructive surgeon, realized many of his patients were requesting invasive cosmetic procedures when they actually needed to rejuvenate lackluster skin, and there was no surgical procedure that could accomplish this. Much of Dr. Brown’s career was spent researching how to heal the severely damaged skin of burn victims. My skin has never been softer, smoother, clearer or more radiant. My fine lines and sunspots have faded – in fact, I barely need foundation. This is a night cream good for all skin types – while I tend toward dry, I get the occasional monthly breakout. This cream balances the dry spots and quickly heals or even prevents the breakouts. I covet this cream more than any Louboutins – and that says a lot! Botox be damned!
